Algebraic surfaces from the twistor point of view Simon Salamon (King's College, Londra) A surface of degree d in complex projective 3-space defines a d-fold covering of the 4-sphere branched over a real subvariety, and may or may not contain twistor lines. This construction gives rise to Hermitian structures on dense open sets of Euclidean 4-space. I shall discuss various examples with d equal to 2, 3 and 4. | ![]() |
