	Conic bundles in Torino in the seventies of last century Alessandro Verra (Università Roma Tre) The talk surveys the work around some classes of conic bundles and Fano threefolds produced by the group of algebraic geometers in Torino and collaborators more than thirty years ago. Nodal families of these conic bundles are used to prove unirationality result for the Prym moduli spaces in low genus.
