The
school will be held at the Università di Roma "La Sapienza",
Dipartimento di Matematica G. Castelnuovo, it will start on Monday, September 1 at 10:00 and end on Friday, September 5, at 12:30. A detailed program will be available soon. We will have three courses of five lectures each. We also plan to organize Seminars and afternoon Study Groups on current research topics. Courses by: Thomas Alazard (CNRS – ENS Paris), Pietro Baldi (Università di Napoli "Federico II") “Water waves” Abstract Patrick Gérard (Paris-Sud – Orsay) “Szego Equation” Abstract References Sergei Kuksin (Paris Diderot – Jussieu) “Averaging for nonlinear PDEs” Abstract |
The Workshop will start on
Monday, September 8, afternoon and will end on Thursday, September 11,
after the morning session. It will be held at the Argiletum (Dipartimento di Architettura, Università Roma Tre, Via della Madonna dei Monti 40), located in the ''Suburra'' area in the center of Rome (a few minutes walk from the Colosseum and the roman forum). The aim is to gather mathematicians working in the field of nonlinear PDEs and favor the exchange of ideas and knowledge from different but affine research areas. The invited speakers will be lodged at the Hotel Santa Prisca, Largo M. Gelsomini 25 (few minutes walk from the subway station "Piramide" -metro B- or from the railway station Roma Ostiense). Confirmed speakers: D. Bambusi (Università di Milano) M. Berti (SISSA - Trieste) N. Burq (Université Paris-Sud – Orsay) R. Carles (Université Montpellier 2) W. Craig (McMaster University, Hamilton) H. Eliasson (Université Paris Diderot – Jussieu) T. Kappeler (Universität Zürich) H. Kovarik (Università di Brescia) T. Ozawa (Waseda University, Tokyo) F. Planchon (Université Nice Sophia-Antipolis) L. Vega (Universidad del Pais Vasco) N. Visciglia (Università di Pisa) W.-M. Wang (Université Paris-Sud – Orsay) X. Yuan (Fudan University, Shanghai) |
