Basic definitions and properties of lattices: scalar prodicts, gram matrix, dual lattice, covolume. Covering radius, sphere packings, Hermite constant, Kissing number.

Successive minima, lattice basis reduction algorithms, LLL algorithm and applications. Shortest vector problem, nearest vector problem, lattice based cryptography.
