The post-doc position is in Algebraic Geometry, and
more specifically in the area of "Moduli Spaces and Birational
Geometry" (broadly intended).
The duration of the post-doc position is 1 year (with some chances of getting a renewal for another year).
Candidates are expected to have a PhD degree in mathematics or to
be close to getting it.
The expected date of beginning of the post-doc position is between February 2017 and July 2017.
The annual gross salary is 27.137 € (which, after taxes,
corresponds to approximately 1.700 € per
month).
The
examination process will be divided in two steps: an evaluation of the
CV/List of publications/Research project and, for the selected
candidates, an oral interview (possibly on skype).
