POST-DOC  POSITION  at the Roma Tre University  

                        TITLE: Algebraic Geometry: Moduli spaces and Birational Geometry

                                                            Sponsored by the MIUR-project FIRB 2012 "Moduli spaces and their applications"

                                                                                      and the Department of Mathematics and Physics

(1) BASIC INFORMATIONS:

• The post-doc position is in Algebraic Geometry, and more specifically in the area of "Moduli Spaces and Birational Geometry" (broadly intended). 
  

• The duration of the post-doc position is 1 year (with some chances of getting a renewal for another year).
  

• Candidates are expected to have a PhD degree in mathematics or to be close to getting it.         
  

• The expected date of beginning of the post-doc position is between February 2017 and July 2017.
  

• The annual gross salary is 27.137 € (which, after taxes, corresponds to approximately 1.700 € per month).          
   
• The examination process will be divided in two steps: an evaluation of the CV/List of publications/Research project and, for the selected candidates, an oral interview (possibly on skype).
  
  
• Deadline for application: 9th January 2017 (note that also the application form must arrive by that date by ordinary mail, so don't be late!).

• These three forms filled in (The forms are in italian, but there is a translation in english just below the boxes that you have to fill in)
• A copy of  your PhD degree certificate or, in case you don't yet have a PhD degree, of your master degree certificate
• A translation of your PhD or master degree certificate in Italian or in English (in case the original version is not in Italian or English)
  
• A copy of an identity document
• CV
• Research project
  
• List of publications and preprints (together with a link where it is possible to donwload them or a copy of them)
