Overview
|
The aim of the conference is to give a description of the current "state
of the art" in the study of varieties whose embedding has some
'non-standard' feature: e.g. 'small' k-secant variety, degenerate Gauss
maps, varieties with many degenerate subvarieties .....
Also the aim is to present connections with many non-geometric sounding problems (e.g. in inverse systems, rank of tensors, polynomial interpolation, algebraic statistics, algebraic complexity theory, ..) with applications to other fields of Mathematics. |
